Join us for a Hoamsy class inspired by Kintsugi, the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold!
Smash a ceramic bowl and then repair it with super glue and gold paint. The gold paint will fill the cracks and chips, turning something broken into beautiful art.
Bowls will be provided, but you may bring a ceramic item (coffee cup/plate/pot) from home that is old/chipped/broken that you'd like to smash and repair instead.
This workshop takes place during our Anniversary Weekend! Overlapping with the workshop will be an epic sake list and a food popup.
Note: This experience is not Kintsugi in the traditional sense. You will be using gold paint instead of gold leaf, and other substitutions to make the experience affordable and decrease the session time that may not follow the traditional "Kintsugi" materials.
