On the first Thursday of every month, we partner with Medfield Public Library to host a sci-fi book club.

Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro (2021)

Dystopian science fiction story. Set in the U.S. in an unspecified future, the book is told from the point of view of Klara, a solar-powered AF, who is chosen by Josie, a sickly child, to be her companion.

If you get a chance, pick up a copy at your local library or wherever you get books, read ahead, and come prepared to discuss in our awesome taproom… or just come to chat about sci-fi, reading, or other stuff and make some new friends!

Don’t forget to order some fresh, local sake at the bar to whet your whistle while you talk.
