Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi, 2015

In a café in Tokyo, customers can travel back in time, but only under strict rules. The time travel must be completed before the coffee gets cold, and visitors cannot change the present. The story is divided into four parts, each following a different customer who uses the café's unique ability to revisit the past to confront regrets, say goodbye, or seek closure.

If you get a chance, pick up a copy at your local library or wherever you get books, read ahead, and come prepared to discuss in our awesome taproom… or just come to chat about sci-fi, reading, or other stuff and make some new friends!

Don’t forget to order some fresh, local sake at the bar to whet your whistle while you talk.
