On the first Thursday of every month, we partner with Medfield Public Library to host a sci-fi book club.

The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton (1969)

Science fiction thriller where a deadly alien microorganism, brought back to Earth by a crashed military satellite, infects a small Arizona town, killing nearly everyone except for an elderly man and an infant; a team of scientists at a top-secret underground lab called "Project Wildfire" must race against time to study and neutralize the organism before it spreads and wipes out humanity, while grappling with its unusual characteristics and potential for catastrophic destruction.

If you get a chance, pick up a copy at your local library or wherever you get books, read ahead, and come prepared to discuss in our awesome taproom… or just come to chat about sci-fi, reading, or other stuff and make some new friends!
